Monument Baptist was constituted as a church in October 1971

Monument Baptist Church is an active member of:
The Southern Baptist Convention
The Colorado Baptist General Convention
The Grand Valley Baptist Association.

We hold to those principles that historically make us Baptist.

* The Bible is our only reliable source for faith and practice.
* The autonomy (self-governing) of the local church.
* Complete separation of church and state.
* We heartily welcome all who come to worship with us.
* Membership is extended to those who have been
born-again of the Spirit and baptized by immersion.
* The priesthood of every believer.
